After a long time developing each channel’s sonic personality on the bench and with a wide range of amps and guitars (and bass!) at the Hovercraft shop, the many hours and designs I tried have really paid off..

A simple to use sonic tool that paints a wide range of expressive styles from dirty blues overdrive to fat riff rock, and can kick over to blissed out singing fuzz, and full contact metal aggression…

Drive and reshape a mild tube amp beyond its stock tone and gain capabilities, wake up a clinical sounding solid state rig, or even function as a preamp. This pedal stacks solid sonic reflexes into your amp.

 

Controls

Gain: low settings add a subtle bit of hairiness middle settings add crunch and body and full uncorks voracious and expressive note aggression.

Tone: a single knob to drive select frequency paths through the range of your amp’s circuitry. This simple control reveals many ways to achieve note articulation and thick, dense chord bloom.

Voice Switch: a 3 way bass frequency shaper (tight/bypass/fat) that can tighten up a sloppy amp, and add extra low bass to a thin sounding guitar or bass.

On/Off switch: turns the pedal on and off, bypassing the effect

Channels – Modes

Lead (RED) channel: a fat mid-forward sound great for lead passages and rich overtones. Gives musical gain with a british tube amp influenced voice. Brings the rock.

Fuzz (GREEN) channel: goes from garage rock messy to resinous slabs of thick and thin crosshatched scribble on your sculpted shag carpet. Great tracking on single notes and chords, move the chord intervals around and roll your squalls around the bend..

Crunch (BLUE) channel: a forged steel right angled homicidal machine that fires off efficient decimating palm mutes and tight, articulately dense low chord aggression. Dial the gain back to get maximum punch, or run it full for broad spectrum rifficide..
